Di Brandt

Di Brandt, Winnipeg’s inaugural poet laureate, is an award-winning poet, essayist and critic. Her work has received numerous awards and accolades including the Gerald Lampert Award for Poetry and the Griffin Poetry Prize. Brandt has lived in Winnipeg, Brandon, Edmonton, Toronto, Windsor (Ontario), and Berlin. She currently teaches creative writing and Canadian literature at the University of Winnipeg.
