Quoting from the Manitoba Arts Network:

In Portraits of Winnipeg: The River City in Pen and Ink, Winnipeg artist and designer, Robert J. Sweeney has captured Winnipeg’s urban landscape in a remarkable collection of coloured sketches. Each “portrait” brings to life, in brilliant colour, the many faces of Manitoba’s “River City.”

The exhibition includes 16 framed, limited edition prints from Robert J. Sweeney's original drawings for his book of the same title (Turnstone Press), and one original pencil drawing. Robert recently received the Association of Manitoba Archives Manitoba Day Award for the book, copies of which will travel with the show and will be available for sale. A limited number of prints are also available for sale through Turnstone Press.

The exhibition requires approximately 30-40 running feet of display space. The tour of Portraits Of Winnipeg: The River City in Pen and Ink will continue through December 2013, and bookings are available.

The monthly booking fee for Portraits of Winnipeg is $100. Please contact the Manitoba Arts Network for more information: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
