traffick is an intelligent exploration of the long poem in which the pieces struggle with the order and disorder of language, body, and place amongst other things. "Traffic" is design that is filled with snarls, accidents, construction, potholes, detours, chaos, glimpses into other lives, passage between one place and the next--poetic meaning "in transit" versus here or there, language in motion even as one moves through it.

Rob Budde was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota but currently lives in Prince George where he teaches Creative Writing at the University of Northern British Columbia in Prince George. Rob has a BEd, a BA, and a MA from the University of Manitoba, and a PhD in English from the University of Calgary.
