traffick is an intelligent exploration of the long poem in which the pieces struggle with the order and disorder of language, body, and place amongst other things. "Traffic" is design that is filled with snarls, accidents, construction, potholes, detours, chaos, glimpses into other lives, passage between one place and the next--poetic meaning "in transit" versus here or there, language in motion even as one moves through it.

“Budde has managed to transport to us an explosive text of acrobatic and infinitely intriguing poems.”
