Jan Horner's poetry collection, mama dada, which captures the life and times of the Baroness Else von Freytag-Loringhoven was honored with the Aqua Books Lansdowne Prize for Poetry. an unexpected break in the weather was able to top several excellent books to win the Margaret Laurence Award for Fiction.
Turnstone would like to congratulate all of its authors, John Toone, Wayne Tefs, Ronald Poulton, Jan Horner and Deborah Schnitzer, who were nominated for this year's awards. We are proud to be their publisher and thank them for the excellent stories they brought to us.
