Michelle Berry brings her sage observations of the human heart to the R.D. Lawrence Literary Festival in Minden Hills this summer. Visitors to the beautiful nature-surrounded township will enjoy a whole weekend of readings August 13 to 14 outdoors at the Minden Hills Cultural Centre grounds located at 176 Bobcaygeon Road. Berry will read Friday, August 13 at 1:00 p.m.
I Still Don't Even Know You published by Turnstone Press is Berry's latest release. In each story, Berry dispenses the unbearable truth that no matter how well you think you know your closest friend, lover, family members or neighbours, you will never truly know them.
Michelle Berry has been widely published in many Canadian literary magazines, national newspapers, and anthologies. Two of her three novels have been published in the UK as well as Canada and she has published two previous collections of short fiction. Born in California and raised in Victoria, B.C., she lives in Peterborough, Ontario with her family.
The R.D. Lawrence Literary Festival is part of a three-week cultural festival hosted annually by the Township of Minden Hills, located north east of Toronto.
