The Millenium Library is celebrating Manitoba's publishing houses in 2010, starting with one of the province's oldest, Turnstone Press.
The independent literary press has been producing quality Canadian literature since 1976, with a mandate to publish works by Canadian authors or landed immigrants, and new writers, with 50 per cent of its titles coming from Manitoba writers, or containing Manitoba content.
From now until the end of February, the Millennium Library at 251 Donald Street is featuring a large display of Turnstone Press and its mystery imprint, Ravenstone. Copies of Turnstone's large collection of literary fiction, non-fiction, and poetry titles are available to view in the display case on the main floor, and are currently in circulation on the library shelves.
